Dr. Rabban Mangat trained as a cardiovascular disease scientist at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  Dr. Mangat has collaborated on the Cardiovascular Vaccine Project since 2015.   Dr. Mangat’s research focus area is on the mechanisms that accumulate apoB48-remnant lipoproteins in arterial tissue by proteoglycans during atherogenesis and insulin-resistance.

Dr. Sylvie Marleau trained in pharmacy - health science.  She was appointed Professor and Associate Vice Dean for Research and Studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Montreal.   Dr. Marleau has collaborated on the Cardiovascular Vaccine Project since 2015.   Dr. Marleau’s research program expertise is on Leukocyte initiation and hypoxemia.
